VON SMART (Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together) Class For Active Seniors


Wednesday mornings from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.   (Classes are only $4.00 per class)

VON and Zenergy Fitness Studio have made a SMART connection.
The two forces have joined together to offer Adults 55+ an opportunity to start 2010 on the right foot.  SMART is the result of a partnership between the Canadian Centre for Activity & Aging, UWO and VON Canada.  Fitness classes are specifically designed to meet some of the challenges and medical conditions related to aging and an inactive lifestyle - arthritis, diabetes, osteoporosis, high blood pressure, etc.  They also focus on fall prevention and maintaining an active and independent lifestyle.
The 60 minute class starts with a warm-up followed by a cardiovascular workout.  Then comes a series of exercises for strength and toning.  Balance and stretching/relaxation round out the routine.

VON SMART Class

For Active Seniors

First time students must complete a 30 minute Introduction Class prior to attending Pilates classes. Call for appointment.
